Eight Students in Cork Prison to Attend Graduation ceremony
A group of students at Cork Prison have today (Friday, February 23) been presented with awards recognising their completion of a module on Substance Misuse and Addiction Studies. This course was developed originally by University College Cork (UCC), the HSE Addiction Services and James Leonard of ‘The Two Norries’ Podcast in collaboration with teaching staff in Cork ETB’s Education Unit.

ACE Attends Coimisiún na Meán Workshop
The Coimisiún na Meán hosted a workshop on Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion as part of the process to develop a long-awaited Gender, Equality, Inclusion and Diversity strategy for the media sector. Workshop attendees were welcomed by Rónán Ó Domhnaill, the Media Development Commissioner who kicked off proceedings. Eleanor McSherry, Programme Coordinator at ACE at UCC was invited to attend and contribute to the development of the strategy by sharing her insights in this field.
